The Seville weathercock
The weathercock forms part of one of the more representative buildings of Seville, the cathedral, one of the more big thing of the world and true jewel of the Gothic and baroque. In due time it went the more high tower of the world with your 97.5 meters of height ( follows being the roof of the city ), it is without doubt one of the more famous images of the city. The tower, ancient minaret of the Almohad mosque of Seville, is constituted for several bodies differentiated although perfectly united by showing a perfect example of the wealth of the crucible of existent cultures in the city. The Moslem body is the more ancient, was built in 1184 by order of Abu Yaqub Yusuf and for your construction, someone and as it can appreciate in your base,  emploied the remains of some buildings and Roman chairses. As curiosity it fits highlight the fact that the weathercock not has not stairses, but 35 sufficiently wide ramps to permit that the sultan went up for them/it mounted on horseback to see the beautiful stamp that is divided.http ://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/GiraldaIt photographs taking by Sanbec
