Pastrana is a people and fixed income municipality southwards of the province of Guadalajara, put to 45 km of the capital, Guadalajara and to 95 of Madrid. Account with a population of 1.077 h (2002) .Es the capital of the region of the high, barren land. Went a specially important city between the XVI and XVII centuries. It is declared historical-artistic whole from 1966.It has a pre-Roman origin, probably Iberian, when it knew one another with the name of Palaterna.
