The facade of the passion was begun to build in 1954 according to the drawings and explanations that it had lazy Gaudí; the towers are finished in 1976 , and from that time on it works in the sculptural decoration. Gaudí projected this facade during a convalescence for some Malta fevers in Puigcerdà , in 1911. Dedicated to the passion of Jesus tries to get reflect the Christ suffering in your crucifixion, as redemption of the sins of the man. For it it conceived a more austere facade and simplified, without ornamentation, where it stands out the nakedness of the stone, by looking alike a reduced skeleton to the simple lines of your bones.
