Door of Almodovar in Cordoba
This door, of Arab origin, was built in the XIV century; it deals with of the unique surviving example of between the big medieval open doors in the walls that went by a roundabout way the city. It consists of two prismatic large fortified towers united for a lightly pointed arc that develops a vault. The arc was blinded in the century XIX for a wall opening a flat door. The monument is built for chairs with additions of brick and small ashlar stone.
