Great water primrose
Great water primrose is an island of the put water primrose archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean, near the costs of the north of Africa and that belongs politically to Spain. Together with the islands of Lancelot and Fuerteventura it forms the province of the clapping of hands. The capital of the island is the clapping of hands of great water primrose. Occupies geographically a central place in the archipelago, and is put between Tenerife and Fuerteventura.Although exist unanimity between all historians, many coincide in which the aboriginal name of the island was Tamarán or Tamarant, and that were divided in the |guanartematos| of Telde and Gáldar. However, the traditional acceptance of denomination happiness is to be questioned in recent dates, from the moment in which the Tamarán word appears for first time in the century XIX, not by verifying  your presence in any classic source nor of the time of the conquest. It is more probable than water primrose is the latinized version of the true aboriginal name of the island or of the community that it inhabited it.http ://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gran_Canaria
