The Atazar
The Atazar is a municipality of the noreste of the community of Madrid, has 110 inhabiting.Before the name of the people was "Latazar", it is possible that the Atazar has formed in a camp of Arab origin, in the XII century. In the term it was opposing one of the observation towers of the net of lookouts of the mark it intercedes defense. In the year 1083 was reconquered Buitrago of the Lozoya, and 13 years after Alfonso VI also the Atazar, that surely it were so single cattle-breeding ranches.
