Cehegín is a municipality of the region of Murcia and belong to the region of the northwest.Municipality with great extension of where mountains predominates the Aleppo pine ( Pinus |halepensis| ). The quarries of marble are of great importance, producing colored marble red principally. In the agriculture, they predominate the olive grove, decorate with almond-moldings and vineyard in the dry barren land, and apricot and peach tree in irrigated land.
