In the DOE nº 42 of 16th April 1998, passes to him the heraldic shield of the municipality of Aljucén, whose design it takes shelter in the annexed I, with the following description: «A band of silver, loaded with the Santiago cross of gules in the right canton of the chief, and of a Saint Andrew's Cross of gules in the sinister canton of the point. Accompanied: in the right canton of the point, of golden bridge azure of two arcs on waves of azure and silver, added of also roasts lightly golden, embattled and cleared up of the field, both masoned of cutlass fish. In the sinister canton of the chief, of gules a golden castle, of three it roasts lightly embattled, with the major sugar mill, cleared up of azure and masoned of cutlass fish. to the timbre, closed yellow globe daisies ».
