It occupied the hill that more late it would be Tordesillas and from there directed and centralized the repopulation with Mozarabic and with peoples moved close from Asturias and lion of this way it can be said that the Tordesillas birth is of |asturleonés| origin.With the arrival of Almanzor for these earthes it had a great retrogression and depopulation until more late, in the XI century begins a slow recovery carried forward of the Castilian overseer García sancho. The documents of this time name it as Oterdesillas.
